Allied Universal in Milwaukee is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver to provide reliable security and exceptional customer service at a technology, media and telecommunications site.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings. Typical hours include day and night coverage, with the potential to reach up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security‑related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive activity through a visible professional presence, clear communication, and timely escalation of security‑related concerns.

$17.50 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
