Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Kingsport, TN. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the potential to pickup extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $15.80 per hour, with a schedule that supports up to 40 hours weekly. The position emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response within a chemical/petrochemical site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Kingsport, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08:30 AM - 09:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
