Allied Universal in Covington, TN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol to provide dependable, site-specific security, access-control and customer service at a manufacturing location. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour. Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, observe visitor and contractor activity, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol in Covington, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
