Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Access Control in Orlando, FL. This role provides reliable, scheduled hours with opportunities to pick additional shifts and grow within the industry leader.

The position pays $18.00 per hour with a fixed day-time schedule and a Sunday night shift. You will work at a designated site with a six-month anchor commitment and have access to additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Access Control in Orlando, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and unusual activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
