Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for a part-time role in Daytona Beach, FL. This position offers reliable fixed shifts and flexibility to earn more by taking additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include customer service, unarmed patrols of the retail site, monitoring access points, incident response, and reporting to supervision as needed. A minimum of 1 year security experience and a HS diploma are preferred.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Response in Daytona Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or potential incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Possession of a state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
