Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Guard card/licenses preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Industry security training may be required.
• Licensing may be required by local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public by following site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and assist guests to appropriate offices and services.
• Maintain logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Sun 07:30 AM - 07:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing guests to appropriate public offices and services.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; promptly communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
