Allied Universal in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at a designated site. This role offers steady hours and the opportunity to earn additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $17.25 per hour. The schedule includes DayTimeSat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, HS diploma, background check and drug screening as required by law.

Formación

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, observed conditions, and security‑related concerns.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
