Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Flex Area Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY. This role offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with a fixed schedule and the potential to scale to up to 40 hours per week. Great for supplementing income while gaining experience in security services.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures and documenting relevant observations.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Flex Area Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
