Allied Universal in Ontario, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide dependable, on-site security support at a retail location. This role offers flexible hours, anchor shifts, and opportunities to pickup extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position pays $18.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes daytime shifts and evening coverage. Candidates should have customer service experience, a guard card license if required, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies at a retail location.
• Greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and front desk records while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Ontario, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

DayTimeThur04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
