Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Services in Ontario, CA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while gaining experience across sites.

Pay is $18 per hour with a schedule of DayTime Thursday 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM. Flexible terms support part-time work toward potential full-time opportunities within a leading security company.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Services in Ontario, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

DayTimeThur08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a retail front desk by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor sign‑in records, issue access credentials as authorized, and communicate access requests to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front desk activity, observe entry and exit areas, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing professional telephone and radio communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
