Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in North Little Rock, AR to provide dependable coverage with fixed shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform. This part-time role pays $14.00 per hour with weekly pay and offers a flexible day schedule for daytime overnight hours.

You’ll perform customer service, patrol transit facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents in accordance with site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, vehicle areas, and parking locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report suspicious activity or policy violations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in North Little Rock, AR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, vehicle areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
