Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Identity Access Review in Charlotte, NC. This role offers reliable hours with an anchor shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

You’ll provide customer service at a retail distribution location, manage access control, respond to incidents, and document activities. The position supports part‑time schedules with potential to scale toward full‑time hours.

Qualifications

• Has a Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately in required reports, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support site operations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Identity Access Review in Charlotte, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
