Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX to provide user-focused security for patients, visitors and staff while following hospital policies and emergency procedures.

The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, promoting income stability and opportunities to advance into full-time work. You must have security experience and a valid driver's license to apply.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directing visitors and supporting a respectful environment for patients, staff, and guests.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
