Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for Part Time Hospital Access Management in Corpus Christi, TX. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

The position features anchor shifts, with a six-month commitment, and a pay rate of $16.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical facility requests in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with access control and directing individuals as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Access Management in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM, Sun 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
