Allied Universal is seeking a part-time, enhanced security officer to patrol and protect patients, visitors and staff at a hospital facility in Rockport, TX. This role emphasizes reliability, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and compliance with hospital vaccination and background screening policies.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate information to appropriate personnel.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Hospital Facility Patrol in Rockport, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
