As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Identity Check in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Control access for personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
