Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain access-control logs.

As a Security Officer Driver Entry Compliance in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain access-control logs for visitors, contractors, deliveries, incidents, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
