Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service to appropriate personnel with clear on-site communication.
• Monitor cameras, access control, radios, and other equipment; document observations and incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate notifications and support for district operations.
• Conduct regular patrols and report security concerns and unusual activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Console in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear communication with on‑site teams and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor cameras, access control systems, radios, and other communications equipment; document observations, incidents, and dispatch activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating notifications and support for retail and entertainment district operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business district and perimeter when assigned, reporting security‑related concerns and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
