Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents, with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

This role offers flexible hours, a base schedule, and a pathway toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week, plus access to our tools and benefits. Pay rate starts at $18.54 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stockroom-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for guests, deliveries, and authorized personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Reconnaissance in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for guests, deliveries, and authorized personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
