Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced at the Atlanta site. You will provide customer service to tenants and guests, monitor security systems, dispatch calls, and help maintain a safe environment.

This flexible role offers anchor shifts, opportunities to pick up additional shifts, and a pathway to full-time hours while earning $19.19 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear communication with on-site teams and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor cameras, access control systems, radios, and other communications equipment; document observations, incidents, and dispatch activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and support for retail and entertainment district operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business district and perimeter when assigned, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Console in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
