Allied Universal in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer to provide customer service and security at a luxury retail site. The role offers reliable fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via the scheduling platform and a pay rate of $25.69 per hour.

Shifts run DayTime from Friday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This position supports flexible hours and potential progression to full-time with paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
