Allied Universal in West Hollywood, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bicycle Area Patrol. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with the anchor shifts and optional extra shifts through the scheduling platform. You will patrol bike routes, monitor access, and assist with traffic and events to maintain safety.

The position pays $22.00 per hour and requires a high school diploma, background check, and potential licensure considerations; drug screening may be required by law.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bicycle Area Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:30 PM - 03:00 AMFri07:30 PM - 03:00 AMSat07:30 PM - 03:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned location, documenting incidents and completing accurate reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with traffic, pedestrian flow, and public‑event activities as assigned while maintaining a professional presence and following applicable policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
