Allied Universal’s Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced role in Culver City, CA offers flexible, dependable hours and opportunities to gain hands‑on security experience with a leading industry provider.

The position is unarmed, with a fixed shift anchor and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:45 PMWed04:30 PM - 08:30 PMThur04:30 PM - 08:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology‑focused corporate location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site‑specific protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and notable observations in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
