Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Audit Driver in Sulphur, LA. This role provides reliable, fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via the scheduling platform, designed to build income and experience in a leading security services company.

The position offers a pay rate of $15.50 per hour, with the potential to increase earnings through the Pick-Up/Anchor program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the job location.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and licensing where required.
• Background check and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Verify access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or security concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly following established protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access areas and the surrounding perimeter.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Audit Driver in Sulphur, LA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Verify access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, gates, and assigned entry areas; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, the business, and perimeter, while maintaining awareness of changing working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
