Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Specialist in Atlanta, GA. The role offers reliable, fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, at a pay rate of $24.16 per hour.

Responsibilities include conducting armed patrols, controlling access points, responding to alarms, and maintaining compliance with all laws and company policies while delivering professional customer service at a financial institution.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or related experience.
• At least 5 years of armed security experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Specialist in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, while maintaining a professional presence and assisting visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Maintain required armed post readiness, including proper handling and secure storage of assigned equipment, while following all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or a completed Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
• Possess at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
