Allied Universal in Gulfport, MS seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response to provide reliable security at a healthcare site with flexible, anchored shifts and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

This role performs armed patrols, access control, and incident responses while delivering professional customer service; join a market-leading team with ongoing training and potential path to full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in Gulfport, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
