As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Console in Breinigsville, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour

  Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

  Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital tools effectively.

  Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should possess a background in customer service. This includes experience in interacting with customers, resolving inquiries, and providing support in a professional manner.

  
  

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.


• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or policy concerns.


• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client‑specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
