Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Enhanced Security Officer at our Breinigsville, PA site. This role offers flexible hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position focuses on access control, badge management, alarm panels, and delivering strong customer service to employees and visitors. A six-month anchor shift is required, with potential to grow into a fuller schedule via the Earn More program.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.

• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors on-site.

• Respond calmly to access‑related incidents and alarm events.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Support in Breinigsville, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Friday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202) Candidates should possess experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates must have a proven track record in customer service roles. This includes effective communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and customers.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor/vendor entry in accordance with established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access‑control records, issue and collect visitor badges or credentials as directed, and report access discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
