Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facilities partner, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Records in Little Rock, AR. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick extra shifts via the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $15.40 per hour with weekly pay. The schedule includes Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 PM–06:00 AM, at an assigned site, with a six‑month anchor commitment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution site, following site security procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized personnel per policy.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, gates, loading areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Prepare accurate activity reports documenting visits, incidents, and conditions.

Pay Rate: $15.40 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access‑control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; promptly communicate observations to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and document visitor access, incidents, and unusual conditions according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred experience with access control and badge systems.
• Preferred customer service experience.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred loss prevention experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
