As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Records in Little Rock, AR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access‑control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; promptly communicate observations to the appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and document visitor access, incidents, and unusual conditions according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred experience with access control and badge systems.
• Preferred customer service experience.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred loss prevention experience.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
