Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, checking credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Verify inbound and outbound vehicle access in accordance with site procedures, reporting discrepancies, unauthorized access attempts, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
