Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Operations in Springdale, AR. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with a six-month anchor commitment and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $14.75 per hour with weekly pay. The position supports access control at an aerospace and defense manufacturing site, with a path to more hours up to 40 per week and potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor access records, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access‑control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
