As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in Point Comfort, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entries, issuing authorized passes, and maintaining accurate access‑related records.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, business operations, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting observations, incidents, and access‑control activities in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
