Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license as per Allied Universal policy requirements.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and documenting entry/exit activity.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and delivery areas to support authorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and assist with emergency response as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including perimeter and key access points, to identify risks and policy violations.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ('Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site‑specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and delivery areas to help support authorized access, report suspicious activity, and communicate security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the perimeter and key access points, to help identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or security‑related risks.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
