Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Access Coordination in Edinburg, TX. This role provides reliable hours at a designated site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $12.38 per hour.

Schedule: DayTime Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. Responsibilities include access-control procedures, credential verification, logging visitors, and ensuring site policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel per site requirements.
• Respond to access-control concerns and incidents following established emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned access points and facility areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in Edinburg, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $12.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
