• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing passes, and recording entries/exits.
• Observe inbound/outbound truck traffic, coordinate access for drivers/vendors, and report concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Protocols in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe inbound and outbound truck traffic, coordinate access for authorized drivers and vendors, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading docks, production‑adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
