Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in Breinigsville, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

1. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

   Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including but not limited to:

   • Sending and receiving emails
   • Utilizing software applications relevant to the position
   • Navigating online platforms for communication and collaboration

   Expectations:

   • Candidates may be required to complete a basic computer skills assessment during the interview process.
   • Familiarity with email etiquette, including proper formatting, tone, and response time, is essential.

2. Customer Service Experience (B219)

   Candidates should possess prior customer service experience, which is crucial for roles that involve direct interaction with clients or customers. This experience should include:

   • Handling customer inquiries and complaints
   • Providing information and support to customers
   • Demonstrating effective communication skills

   Expectations:

   • Candidates will be asked to provide examples of past customer service experiences during interviews.
   • Emphasis will be placed on the ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in all communications.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access‑control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct incoming deliveries and vendors according to site procedures.
• Control entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, and materials at designated access points in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
