Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time for Carrollton, TX. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.07 per hour. The position offers an anchor shift and potential for up to 40 hours per week, with opportunities to advance and participate in our Perks Program. Candidates should have security experience and a preferred license.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific access-control policies.
• Monitor access points and credential verification processes and maintain visitor/contractor records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and perimeter.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders and document incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Coordination in Carrollton, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific access‑control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points and credential verification processes, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site‑specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders while documenting incidents, observations, and access‑related activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
