Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Access Control in Claude, TX. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour with weekly pay. The position includes a six-month anchor shift commitment and a path to build experience across multiple sites within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees per site procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the site areas and access points.
• Monitor access by checking credentials, directing authorized personnel, and documenting activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report as directed.
• Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports and communicate during shift handoffs.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Access Control in Claude, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule: Sun 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction areas, food and beverage operations, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing authorized personnel and deliveries, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vendor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public responders as directed by site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
