Allied Universal in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access to provide reliable, site-based security with flexible hours. The role offers a predictable schedule with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will monitor entrances, perform access-control procedures in a healthcare setting, and respond to incidents calmly while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, helping to maintain controlled access to restricted clinical, administrative, and staff areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor entry, contractor access, deliveries, and other security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or access-control concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access in Rock Hill, SC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience cross-multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities
