Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Graniteville, SC. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our platform, designed to provide reliable hours and opportunity to increase earnings.

The incumbent will provide customer service at an automotive manufacturing site, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical events professionally and coordinate with emergency services.
• Report hazards and security concerns to leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Graniteville, SC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate entry, exit, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
