Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and following established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and convey observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the industrial facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
