Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Security Officer/EMT to join our team in Lincolnshire, IL. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, staff and property, delivering security and medical services as needed while following safety protocols.

The position requires an EMT license in Illinois, a high school diploma or GED, and reliable attendance. The shift is 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM (37.5 hours/week) with a $0.25/hour differential and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active EMT license in Illinois required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled internal and external patrols to maintain a secure environment for residents and community property.
• Conduct continuous patrols of property and facilities.
• Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls.
• Complete daily rounds and incident reports.
• Document incidents including accidents, theft, fires, serious malfunctions, emergency responses, and violations of rules and regulations.
• Maintain a professional and calm presence during all situations.

Title: Security Officer/EMT

Pay: $20.00-23.00 per hour (based on experience) + shift differential, benefits and perks!

Job Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Schedule & Hours: 2rd Shift: 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM (37.5 hours/week). Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Shift Differential: $0.25 per hour

This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff, and community property. This includes, but is not limited to, providing security and medical services and resident support as needed while ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the community.
