Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Albuquerque, NM to serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including government facilities. You will monitor access, patrol grounds, and respond to incidents with a professional, courteous approach.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 18+ (21+ for armed roles). CPR is preferred, and background checks and drug testing are required where permitted by law.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
