Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries following established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity; report concerns to designated personnel.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation accurately and timely.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to designated personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
