Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Emergency Patrol in Albuquerque, NM to safeguard government facilities and provide excellent customer service. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, respond to emergencies, and document activity following post orders and laws.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and laws.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity, patrol observations, and incidents through required reports.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor activity, patrol observations, and incidents through required reports.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
