Qualifications

• CPR Certification and/or CPR/First Aid are preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check and drug screen required by policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location, following site procedures and emergency response guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document as required.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances/exits and restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders to maintain orderly operations.

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials as assigned; and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public while helping to maintain orderly operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
