As a Security Officer Emergency Medical Response in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional, welcoming environment while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense operations areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information; communicate observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• EMT certification is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
