How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and document observations and activities accurately.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate security‑related concerns in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have previous firefighting experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
