Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, coordinating with campus personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs for patrol observations and security-related concerns.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.40 - $21.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Tue: 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Wed: 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sat: 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM
• Sun: 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
